Paul Bowen, LSW, CCA

Paul Bowen serves as the Juvenile Drug Treatment Court Project Director for the National Association of Drug Court Professionals. He previously served as the Court Administrator for the Rankin County Youth Court in Pelahatchie, Mississippi. He provided oversight to the court system and supporting services including Probation, Juvenile Drug Treatment Court, Family Drug Treatment Court, Zero to Three, Intake Officers, and other administrative and clerical staff.  He has worked for the court for over twenty years. He has co-written several grants and successfully secured and managed funding for new services for the Drug Treatment Court programs, Juvenile Detention Alternatives Initiative, Parent Representation Project, Zero to Three program and other services over the last several years.

Paul has also served on the Board of Directors of the Mississippi Court Administrators Association including presiding as President. During that time he assisted the Mississippi Judicial College and provided orientation training for new judges and administrators. Most recently, Paul has served on the Board of Directors for the Mississippi Association of Drug Court Professionals in the roles of At-Large Board Member, Secretary, Vice President, and now President. Paul is a licensed social worker and certified court administrator.
