Honorable David W. Ruoff
Judge Ruoff is the presiding justice in the Cheshire County Superior Court. He has been an Associate Justice in the New Hampshire Superior Court since 2016. Before his judicial appointment he was a partner at Howard & Ruoff, PLLC in Manchester, New Hampshire and focused his practice on criminal and civil litigation. He also practiced law as an Assistant Attorney General in the New Hampshire Department of Justice and as a staff attorney for the New Hampshire Public Defender.
Judge Ruoff was the vice president of the New Hampshire Bar Association in 2014 and president-elect in 2015, until his judicial appointment. He has served on the New Hampshire Supreme Court Professional Conduct Committee, the Judicial Council, and the federal court's Complex and Major Crimes Panel.
